I went out in the midnight for another more dinner. Never thought this place is very good. Beef is very big portion and melty.Hokkaido Shell is very sweet and fresh, Hamachi is very fresh. Good restaurant.

Visited the izakaya right opposite my hotel (Hotel Resol) and had a satisfying supper.Burdock chips and grilled eggplant with cheese and miso were delightful surprises. Grilled squid was cooked just right, would be better if there were pepper salt (in my opinion). Spicy tofu soup is not that spicy but very comforting for such a cold night.Plus a Yuzu Highball and Ume shochu, total was about ¥3000 so it's quite a good deal!

Nice little Izakaya centrally located, food is varied, of good quality and relatively inexpensive, beer and sake was excellent. Menu has photos so its easy to communicate to the waiter if you lack in Japanese.

Don’t try the king crab leg, my personal advise, then enjoy.

Gets busy during dinner time, better luck after 7pm if you haven't booked

Taste good and feel comfortable.

Every dish tasted good. You can’t go wrong with any item they have on the menu. It’s popular in the neighbourhood that it remains full during the night when all nearby restaurants are half empty.

Come to Japan, don't miss this izakaya shop. Especially in Hakodate, there is a Gyusanko store in the center of Hakodate. Is a place to eat and drink after work of the city people This shop sells fresh seafood and grilled food.Alive Hotate Shashimi Live scallops, swim Catching it to make sashimi is super sweet. Very tenderFresh, sweet, grilled one-eyed fish Grilled fish, fragrant, fresh, sweet, without fishyness, just sprinkling of salt is perfect.Warm grilled rice ball Fragrant charcoal stove Cassava sauce, fragrant Lamu Lamai Noose, local cheese, fragrant Where is the happiness? Hokkaido Wagyu, native Hokkaido beef that is tender and melts in the mouthShashimi, shimedi and yellow tail fish are also fresh, sweet and delicious. This shop is reasonably priced. Worth the eating

Very reasonable price fresh sashimi around the JR station. Seems to be a local favourite with a lot of seafood options. They do provide an English/Chinese menu with photos, but the friendly staff can only speak in Japanese.

Cosy place very close to Hakodate train station. Food is very reasonably priced and good too! Staff are very friendly and the environment is very cosy. Lots of locals eating here.

Izakaya is about 3 minutes walk from Hakodate Station. There are many foreigners in the clerk, but there is no problem in ordering. At first I asked for Lamb Zangi, which seems to fit the beer, but this is a surprising amount. Beer advances with juicy deep-fried fried chicken. After changing to a variety of sake, I decided to blame the seafood, but I looked at the menu table and my eyes were black and white. Lineup never seen in Honshu. "Donko" seems to be a kind of sea squid, but it is very rich including liver surimi. "Pretend" seems to be a Hakodate specialty waterfish, but the moment you ate a bite, "Oh, it's a mass of collagen!" And I was surprised that "Hokke" can be eaten with sashimi. The stereotype of "bokeh = fish to eat" is rattled. A shop that you should visit at least once in Hakodate, where you can not eat unless you go to Hokkaido. I gained valuable experiences while traveling.

As for food, we have a lot of dishes to eat when you come to Hakodate and Hokkaido. Sashimi, pottery, zangi, lamb, one dish, hot pot, etc. There are many drinks and items, as well as a large selection of sake, and there is pleasure to choose. There are many foreign customers, but everyone is working hard and can feel good. There are also small considerations such as sashimi before meals (this time it was an octopus) and araju service before accounting. Available for tourists, families, business associates, students, alone or in large numbers!

The rock seaweed was deliciousI entered with a look. I didn't know what the reputation was, but what impressed me was the taste of the rocky laver. Originally, sashimi and pottery should be evaluated, but no, no matter what I knew, the seaweed was delicious.

3.5 stars. Not bad, not mind blowing. Go for the cooked stuff. Grilled red snapper was the highlight- 5/5. Sashimi is just so so- 2/5. Karaage and other side dishes- 3/5.

Lively izakaya with friendly hosts and an English menu available. All the dishes were above expectations, especially the scallops and charcoal lamb. Definitely would recommend for anyone seeking a good izakaya experience.

I ate “live squid sashimi†for the first time, but I was able to confirm that the squid was so delicious that it was fresh just before I lived. It is fun and delicious to eat various parts such as eyeballs, liver and beak. There are also sashimi that you don't usually have much to eat, such as "Kajika", "Donko", and "Hokke". Everything was fresh and delicious. I also recommend “Igariwa Onigiriâ€. Near Hakodate Station, reasonable prices, fresh sashimi and no complaints. When I go to Hakodate again, I would like to visit again.

Amazing seafood. A bit pricey, but if money is not a. Issue, definitely should check out this izakaya. Get the cooked scallops! Open to tourists and super friendly staff.

Great food and service. Had to wait in queue for an hour but might be because its Golden Week. Also there's service charge of 300 yen per person.

The surf clams was juicy and tender. You pay 300yen for table charge and get a complimentary octopus and squid appetisers.

About 3,000 yen per customer. While there are many shops in front of Hakodate station where the quality and price for tourists are not reasonable, the main shop is in a price range that is quite favorable and the sashimi is fresh and delicious. There are a wide variety of drinks and you will not be in trouble with sake, shochu, wine and beer. There are also high-quality ingredients such as crabs, a wide variety of seafood, and horses. The staff are all nice and foreign staff are not impressed, but they were canceled with good feelings. They will provide you with rough soup to make you feel better.
